ALL ABOUT AYLA

Being a photographer was never a position that I considered for myself. Growing up, I was always fond of the arts, I constantly found myself drawing and imagining a life filled with fashion and music and joy. It wasn’t until high school that I realized I had a fascination for production and creating worlds inside of images. I would get friends together and bring a concept to life, and I haven’t stopped since then. Within my first few months living in New York I knew that I needed to embrace this side of myself fully, so here I am. I absolutely adore meeting new people and working in all types of environments. Whether it be on studio shooting e-commerce, partnering with stylists and brands for editorials, building personal conceptual series’ in beautiful spaces, or even exploring different worlds through fine art. Ultimately, my work is fueled by a need to bring light to things that are rather intangible, through a variety of techniques and approaches. Each photograph becomes a space for curiosity and imagination to meet and build.
